Bad Boy Catalog Acquisition (2005)

In 2005, Warner Music Group completed a landmark $30 million transaction that gave Atlantic Records joint control of the Bad Boy Records catalog. This partnership fundamentally changed how legacy hip-hop catalogues were managed in the streaming era.
